location: Leesburg, FL Lake County Radio Rd
date: March 12, 1994
time: 9:00-9:30 pm
sighting: I was walking in a neighborhood that they were just beginnning to build houses in. My parents were
both with me at the time. After a while we noticed my dad was no longer talking, instead he was staring at the
sky. We all stopped, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There was what looked like a flourescent lightbulb,
or giant glowing white cigar moving overhead. It was at about 20,000 feet in the air or so I would estimate, and
moving relatively fast. The unusual thing was that there were also 5 airplanes in the sky heading in all directions,
some behind, some ahead. We watched it for about 2 minutes before it went behind some clouds and never came back
out.
We reported it to the police, who didn't believe us. The monthes following, and still to this day, there are these
black, unmarked helecopters that fly the area at night, and nobody who we called can tell us anything about them.
They also shine search lights on the ground.
I have had other sightings since then also near my home around the same time at night.
