sighting: I can"t say that this was an actual UFO sighting, however, my husband and I did observe a stange phenomena that we have never before seen and can't explain as something that is naturally occurring. At least, not that we know of.

Here is what happened:

We were relaxing on our balcony that overlooks a golf course that is surrounded by ponderosa pines, when we observed a strange light that seemed to appear and disappear out of nowhere. Sometimes it was intensely bright and sometimes it was dim. It lasted on and off for approximately a 1/2 hour. The type of light that it resembled was like a lightning flash or the light from a flash bulb on a camera, however, it appeared not to come from any one point but rather just appeared as if from nowhere and in different spot each time. We were about 50 to 100 feet away from this strange occurance and we have never seen it since. Could this be ball lightning? We never felt any kind of electricity in the air, so who knows?

In reference to my previous report regarding a strange light over the golf course, I wanted to clarify that this light was not in the sky, but rather about 10 feet off the ground.
