sighting: Five sightings in all--from 2:45am, 7/5/97 - 2am, 7/6/97.
The objects were roundish, above the mountain tops. They blinked red, green & white. They would just "appear,"
move back and forth a bit in an arc shape, then head behind the mountains, usually in an angular direction. The
first stopped, then turned 90 degrees; as it did so, what looked like a "tail" mid body was exposed.
The most intriguing was approx. 7pm on 7/5--it was still light out, and the object, though still quite far away,
made the same motions, then descended behind the mountains. What made it intriguing was that despite the distance,
it could be seen "plain as day," so it's ultimate movements, then disappearing were very clear.
The other sightings were similar objects, only they were all in the same evening, all within a 4 hour period. Called
local TV station, who were interested, and began receiving calls after out initial call. After that, their lines
were continually busy.
