sighting: I was in Mt. Shasta City at the time. It was midday 70's with either no clouds or very sparse. I was
inside and heard several helicopters outside. I went outside to see them but as I looked up there was a silver
disk about the size of a helicopter above the helicopter 500 to 1000 feet. When I looked up the saucer stopped
and remained stationary but the three helicopters remaining moving in formation but slowed down. I stared at it
without blinking for as long as I could to burn it into my memory. After about 30 seconds to a minute I had to
blink and turn away for a moment. When I turned back it was gone. The helicopters which were unmarked and black
or dark grey in color slowly headed in the directiion of Nevada and possibly Area 51. It is my belief that flying
saucers are such a common sight in the Mt. Shasta area that our government no longer even tries to hide them in
broad daylight. I would vaguely estimate the size of the helicopter about 30 feet in diameter that reach a height
of around 10 feet in the middle. The only sound was the helicopters. The saucer was shiny as if it was made of
polished aluminum stainless steel or some other alloy.
