Couldnt sleep one night, so I was out walking my dogs around 4:30 in
the morning. Looking towards Sante Fe baldy I saw a very peculier
light flashing white and purple. It appeared to be very large and
far away over the Sangre de Cristos. I observed it flying repeatedly
back and forth in a quick jerky manner for about 30-45 minutes.
After a while it flew higher and higher into the sky towards
Santa Fe, then vanished all of a sudden. This is not the first time
I have seen something like this in the area, however, it is the
first time in about 5 years. Just decided that I would report it
this time. Maybe other people in the area have seen something
similar.
