sighting: Back in 1993, I saw what appeared to be a UFO, which was a red light twice as bright as any star in
the sky that travelled from one side of the sky in a matter of seconds, then it suddenly stopped as if it hit a
brick wall, and then shot out at a 90 degree angle, something which no craft that I know of can do.
Anyways, I always passed my 1993 sighting off as a 'one of a kind', and an experience that I'll never have happen
again. I believed that I'd seen a UFO, and left it at that. But on July 26th, 1997 I was sitting on my patio at
about 12:30 in the morning drinking a glass of orange juice, and just admiring the sky, looking at the stars. Suddenly,
I saw something flash out of the corner of my eye. It was a flash of light so bright, it made me think I'd seen
lightning. I looked to that section of sky immediately, and saw nothing, yet continued to look in that part of
the sky. About 2 minutes passed, and I saw something I'll never forget. I saw a silver colored, oval shaped object
dart across the sky at CLOSE range (it appeared to be flying about 100 feet above the ground, which is way too
low for aircraft). The strange thing was that I heard NO noise. I just saw this silver oval go flying over my house.
From the time it flew over my house and off into the distance, being out of sight was about 5 seconds, so it wasn't
going EXTREMELY fast, but fast enough...
