On the fourteenth of June 1945 I was ordered to an unknown desert location. The location went by the code name Area 51. Area 51 was an underground military base designated to the testing of chemical weaponry. The testing that followed my arrival was frightening, each soldier was injected with a chemical that was being developed as an antidote, so that somehow American soldiers could travel unhindered through poisonous terrain. About a month after my arrival an entire caravan of people arrived at the scene. I suppose that I can count myself lucky not to have been one of those people. They were taken off into a nearby zone, exposed to chemical warfare weaponry and killed. The bodies were removed in black bags, probably giving birth to the "Area 51 Legend". It would be quite logical of you to take this message as the ranting of an old man. Yes, it is true, my memory is not what it used to be, but I'm dying of cancer at age 77, and I couldn't stand the thought of taking my knowledge with me into the grave.
