It was submitted by () on Sunday, May 31, 1998 at 03:36:35   location: Phoenix, AZ date: May 29, 1998 time: 05:10 A.M. sighting: On this date I was driving to work from Glendale AZ. to Mesa AZ (a 40 Min. drive)heading east I noticed what appeared to be a bright star or an aircraft light, it was in the north eastern sky at dawn. It was silver to a white bright color. I kept watching it to see if it would fade with the sun rising nor did it change direction. it was about 30-40 thousand feet up. it stayed there the whole drive in to work and when i parked i got out of the car and looked at it for another 5 min. with no changes. Do satallites come that low in orbit and stay stationary? also we here in AZ can see a lot of gas trails from white sands during some rocket launches, was this another test of some sort? please reply.
