USA date: 1980 time: 9:00PM sighting: A friend and I were driving down Susquehanna rd. in Abington, Pa.(10 miles outside of Phila.) @ about 9PM when we saw a "ball" of Fire in the sky. We then pulled onto the school grounds, got out of the car and watched the craft for about 3-4 minutes until the fire went out from under the craft. The craft sailed or hovered in our direction very slowly towards us, (having many lights on the outer edge and about the size of a football field)with just the sound of a Hummmm..... Eventually we got in the car and drove to a nearby neighborhood and parked under a tree. We watched as the craft passed over us.
