sighting: The morning of Friday,
December 19,1997 at 7:30 a.m.mst,
I was outside working. I work for
a local moving company,here in Boise,
Idaho. Just near the end of the first
part of the move, I was bringing out
a chair to the truck and looked up to
gaze out at the beautiful dawn sky. I
looked to the west then straight up
and in a sudden surprise saw a huge
oblong object with so much light
around it, it was hard to tell the
exact shape. The color of the light
was a brilliant golden yellow. I
motioned to my coworker and pointed it
out; he just about dropped the item he
had in hand, and looked up. I said,
"Looks kinda funny ahhh"; we had joked
around together before about the aliens
etc.. We gazed up at it for a few moments
almost forgetting about our work. I went
back inside the house to grab another
chair, my friend followed, and as I was
walking back out I again stopped to gaze,
just then two jets flying at a very low
height blasted over me and Boise. I looked
back at him, as he was just coming down
the stairs of the house shouting. The two
jets swooped up at the light, as if in a
chase. The object kept decending to the
eastern horizon. My friend then shouted,
"If that thing shoots off somewhere,I'm a
believer." I then said, "Shouldn't you be
by now?." The truck was loaded, and we were
all standing outside all looking up. With
the signing of the bill,the shipper,my
friend and I were off, but not until we
watched as three more jets took flight in
the chase. We watched as the light decended
behind the mountains, still shining bright.
Then a second oblong light appeared obove
the horizon hovering just ubove where the
first one went down. A younng man then came
walking out of a nearby apartment to his car.
As he passed our way, we all pointed him in
the direction of the objects, he looked up
at it for a moment. All of us were saying it
was a UFO or something. His response was,
"You must all be on dope." Then, shrugging
his shoulders, he proceded to drive away. We
left that place to unload and the jets were
still flying for up to an 1/2 hour after.
