This event occurred while I was bringing in some firewood at
my parents home in Las Vegas, NM. I went out the backdoor
and proceeded to the back part of the yard where the wood was.
As I began to make my way around some of the bushes in the yard,
I looked up and saw a spectacular flash of 3 rings of lights.
They were arranged horizontaly. The flash began with small
rings but the rings grew in circumfirance much like a smoke
ring. The rings started out with a bright yellow and as the
rings grew in size they changed to white and then disappeared.
I was totally freaked out. With chills throughout my body, I
ran back inside my parent's home telling my mom and dad what I
saw. They thought it was just my eyes playing tricks on me.
I got my hand held spotlight and ran back out. I stood on the
edge of our porch and flashed the spotlight in the direction
the lights were. After about a minute or so, I heard some
helicopters coming from the direction of Albuquerque. (I am
sure of the direction, because my parents live near the Las
Vegas hospital and the Life Guard Helicopter freqently comes
to the hospital for patient transfers) When I heard the
helicopters, I stopped the flashing and stepped back into the
porch. The choppers put some spotlights in the general area
I was in. The chopper spotlights were focused on the back
area of our block as well as in our alley. When the lights
were not in our yard, I stuck my head out from the roof and
saw two of them, they were the double propeller choppers
(military). I couldn't believe it. I never told anyone
except now that I've found out that there are places on the
net that I can post things.
