location: Highway 46, near Lothair, Georgia
date: 11/17/96
time: 9:15 p.m.
sighting: Two local men were driving toward Lothair, when two strange lights were spotted above the treetops
to their right. The lights moved sporadically and periodically changed hues from dark purple to light green. The
phenomenon would suddenly vanish, only to reappear seconds later in a location ahead of the vehicle which was traveling
at a speed around 55 mph. Upon reaching Lothair the lights ceased to appear before the vehicle.
