sighting: My friend and I were driving on Rt. 17 near Monticello when we both heard a high-pitched whining sound
and when we looked in the sky to our left we saw a row of 7-8 lights with a faint outline of a cigar-shaped object.
It was hovering over the mountains, and then after about 1 minute all the lights went out at once. Before they
went out, it had moved in unison approximately 25 degrees northwest and then went out. My car's interior lights
started to malfunction, flickering on and off and my windshield wipers were going on and off by themselves at about
that same time. We were totally amazed.
