location: St. Louis County, Mo.
date: July 4, 1997
time: 9:25 PM
sighting: My wife and I were in the back yard watching fireworks approxiamately 1 1/2 miles north of our location.
A light, traveling from east to west passed directly overhead. There was absolutely no noise coming from it. This
is in the St. Louis area, and on the same night, and about the same time, blue lights were reported on the Illinois
side of the river. The papers handed out the usual garbage that it was probably a meteor. Believe me, I have seen
many meteors, and this was no meteor.
