It was submitted by () on Wednesday, February 25, 1998 at 23:00:37 location: Southern Ky USA date: 07/01/77 time: approx. 22:00 sighting: Returning from shopping, I and a friend (now deceased) saw what looked like a light bar in the sky, above and ahead of us. It was above the trees, had an oscillating quality and could not be heard. It did not look like a plane , helicopter or blimp. The light from it appeared to alternate in intensity as if it was spotlighting the terrain. We reported this event to the State Police post and to the local sheriff. We were never contacted and my family cautioned me to keep it myself, which I have done and will continue to do.
