From: "landbh" To: ufosnw@rt66.com Subject: reference my ufo Date: Sun, 8 Mar 1998 21:59:03 dear sir: I saw an UFO of some type while working as a deputy sheriff in the Texas panhandle in the fall of 1996.It was getting close to sunset and I was patrolling in the western part of our county.The sun was setting and I saw in the west several miles from my location a beautiful rotating light hovering up and down close to the ground. It changed colors and stayed pretty much in the same area. I called the dispatcher and asked her if she had gotten any reports of a strange object in the western sky,because i was watching one as we spoke.She almost laughed at me and told me no.I was questioning my own sanity, but realized the people living just into the next county were on the ground following it in their vehicles and shining spotlights up at it. I still wonder what it was.
