UFO=Sighting:
It was during the summer, and my family was on its annual vacation
from Indianapolis to their native home in Memphis. I was with my
uncle David , who was about 18 months older than I at the
time. I was between 8 and 9 years old. We were coming from a
store on the corner of Lauderdale and Essex streets when we saw it.
It was round in shape and and had rotating multicolored lights. It
was so close in proximity to the ground that as we looked, we could
see the shape of a humaniod being in the craft. A man who stood on
the corner with us saw it as well and commented 'Well I'll be damed,
a flying saucer.' My uncle and I ran the half-block to my
grandmothers house and told them what we saw. Needless to say, we
were both wipped and sent to bed for 'lying', and we kept this story
pretty much to ourselves since.
