sighting: It was on a very clear summers night, when some friends and I were commenting on how great the stars
looked. One of my friends, Con, then mentioned that one of those "stars" was actually moving.
This thing looked pretty much like a distant star, but with one important difference: It was moving in a zig-zag
pattern. It went from left to right, and then it seemed to return along the same path. We then lost track of it.
It actually looked like that UFO seen in the footage of one of the space shuttle missions, where it gradually comes
into view of the camera, and then suddenly takes off with great speed (I'm sure you know which case I"m talking
of).
After mentioning what I saw to several people, some have mentioned that sattelites can move in such a manner. The
only problem I have with this is that the "object" seemed to be moving extremely quickly, and in an almost
perfect zig-zag path.
I would be very interested to hear some comments on this.
