In the early morning of November 17 during the peak
of the
leoinds meteor shower at aproximatley 3.24am,a white light
of aproximatley magnitude 3 appeared in the constelation
of cancer, quite close to M44.It was heading south for
2 seconds then lit quite briliantly to at least magnitude
-2.
It was bright for aproximatley 3 seconds, then dimmed slowly,
changed course quite sudddenly to the south east and
disappeared. It may have been a satellite as I observed
many
that morning. Its path was however very eractic and seemed
to
be to fast for a satelite. The whole observation lasted
less
than 7 seconds.
