sighting: It was about 40 minutes before a football game at the Lyons High School (the field was mostly empty)
when my two daughters saw a slow moving silver disk flying slowly from the NE to SE. The object was reflecting
the setting sun and looked like very smooth metal or glass and made no sound. It was lower than clouds that appeared
to be about 5,000 feet above the ground level. It was the size of a dime held at arm's length and it had a hollow
spot on its bottom in the center. The sighting lasted 2 minutes +/-. My girls have never seen such a thing and
until that day tended to consider my own old stories about UFO sightings to be crazy. Now they believe me. On 8-4-97
I myself saw another object at sun rise reflecting the sun like a bright star, it moved slowly and without any
sound. It was moving N to S over Lyons CO. If you will note all the UFO Web sites there have been many sightings
in the NE Colorado area of late.
