It was submitted by () on Sunday, April 12, 1998 at 16:29:51 location: Mcmillan, MI (Upper Peninsula) date: April 1989 time: 3:00 a.m. sighting: Exact location is ten miles north of the town of McMillan, then 1 mile west (snow mobiles/4wd only) to the Barker's mushing school cabin site. I was sleeping in room facing west, awoke and saw bright light coming in window, looked outside and saw what looked like halogen type light shining through the pine forest coming from roughly 1/2 mile west. Very bright, could not have been a vehicle, utility lights, due to immense intensity and no noise. I stepped out onto the front porch for a minute and checked it out, couldn't figure it out, but of course I was somewhat concerned. It was pretty cold out, after a couple minutes, it faded out and I went back to sleep. I stayed at this cabin for 6 weeks, no other incidents.
