Hi Jim,
MORE SECONDHAND SIGHTINGS:
Yesterday (Sunday) a long aquaintance of mine turned up and said some of the following, and after telling him
about your site he agreed I should tell you. There are 3 sightings in all :
#1 TIME: Friday August 1st 1997 Late evening
PLACE: Goulburn Australia
#1 We'll call them Jack and Jill. Jill looks out of lounge room window and says "What's that?" Jack looks
and sees, about 3-4 metres outside the house, something described as a see-through grey aerodynamic shape. It is
motionless, and stars can be seen through it. Both stare for a few seconds, then varrrroooooommmm it's gone.
#2 Next day they saw another person I know, and said "Guess what I saw." "Was it a UFO?" "How
did you know?" "They're around at the moment." This man then related that about 5 am on Friday (before
their sighting) he woke in bed and looked out to see a bright light staying still in the sky. "That's not
a star", he thought, and it shot off at high speed.
According to this second man, Lake George (place of my encounter) is experiencing them daily. I didn't know that.
#3 So in light of that fact I've decided to include this secondhand sighting which I cannot confirm but since we're
discussing the area:- Another friend of mine told me that his father (man's man, born sceptic, seeing's believing)
became a believer one night beside Lake George when a blue diamond-shape see-through craft zoomed over the range
to hover straight above his car and stay with him at speed for some distance before taking off vertically.
-----------------------------------------------------
I also saw an object do a very fast turn on saturday, but I cannot say it wasn't a light aircraft of some sort.
It would be exciting if Lake George became a hot spot like Gulf Breeze. Interestingly, on Star Trek Voyager they
have a holo-program for relaxation and it's called Lake George.
I was startled by that one too.
I'll keep you posted.
