Sighting:
I was outside of my home in the front yard with about 10 or 15 
other people. Only 3 of which had been drinking - and only 2 
beers to each within the hour. We saw this bright light start 
to appear in the sky and we noticed that there wasn't any noice 
anywhere or clouds around the light. The light got brighter 
and split into 3 different lights. They covered the entire sky 
for what looked like over a mile - this measurement was 
estimated by a vote. Then they joined back together and faded. 
Only a few seconds later there was this big flash and the light 
flew right above us. There wasn't any cloud cover for the rest 
of the night anywhere.
The next morning over 500 people called the police station and 
air force base located 10 to 20 miles away - in the opposite 
direction of the sighting - to see if any thing like a plane 
was flying that night. Nothing left a run way and nothing 
landed on a run way. And they had no radio signal during the 
time the sighting occured.
