My mom and dad were walking through a park about two blocks from our 
family home one evening.  The moon was bright that night and dad 
relayed the following:  suddenly it got dark like a cloud had passed 
in front of the moon.  It stayed dark for a few minutes when dad 
looked up behind him to see if clouds were rolling in.  He saw a huge 
craft coming in just above the trees, from the north to the south, 
right above them.  They stood there while it passed overhead.  It 
made no sound, it had no lights, and when it was above them it 
appeared to be as big as the park which was a small town park, one 
block wide and two blocks long.  As the tail reached the end of the 
park it rose up in front and went straight up out of sight in seconds.  
My dad worked for a major helicopter manufacturer.  He was an engineer 
in charge of transmissions.  He never saw anything like it and never 
told anyone except my sisters and I.  My mother would not talk about 
it and they moved away from the area in 1990, and dad passed in 96.
