sighting: I was standing outside my home having a cigarette when I saw what I call the "thing". Steve
(my lover) and I have a large field outside our home and it was a clear night. I was simply minding my own business
when an angular object came racing acros the sky from the east. It was moving pretty fast and I thought it was
a plane. It was then that the object stopped suddenly above our place. The object came within about ten feet of
the ground and seemed to be vibrating. It was at this point that I blacked out. I woke up what turned out to be
three days later in Collingwood Ontario which is about six and a half hours away. I telephoned my wife, and took
the nearest bus from Collingwood back to Ottawa. Since the incident I have been diagnosed with Mono and Chronic
Fatique syndrome. Steve has left me. And my life seems to have been turned upside down. Outside of relatives and
close friends, I have told no one. They all think I'm crazy and have even tried committ me. I am not lying. I am
telling the truth. It feels good to get this off my chest. And I am glad I could speak with you.
