Time:around late afternoon

I was playin around with a bunch of friends 
after school. As was laying on the ground, 
and naturally looking towards the sky, I 
noticed a round black object ( no lights though ) 
hovering at high altitude. It made a few fast
moves, rather than maneuvers like aircraft do. 
They were unusually fast for any earth-like craft 
to perform. Like zig zag sort of. Then after a short
while it took off really fast horizontally and 
disappeared. I m not sure what it was because it was 
too high, but no aircraft does hover in one place
and goes like a missile in one second.
