Sighting:
I was about 7 or 8 years old and our home was under renovation at that time.
I was leaning outside from the inside from the living room window. As I was
going to talk to my dad, working outside, I saw a blue ball of light in the
sky. The event lasted only a few seconds, maybe 5 seconds. What struck me
most is that I had a feeling that planes would not shift direction as the
blue ball did and a comet or a meteorite would not either. The blue ball
made an instant 90 degree shift of its course and then vanished. I asked my
dad to turn around and look but it never came back. The ball was in
relatively high altitude when i saw it. I did not know how to compute this
as i was young but when i heard and read about UFOs, I knew that it was what
i had seen in a remote part of Quebec.
