sighting: On November 21, 1996 I noticed a bright light with a tail streaking through the sky in Anchorage, Alaska.
Apparently, there were other witnesses that saw this light and reported it to the local news.On the following morning,
it was stated in the local newspaper that the strange light was most likely a meteor. It was further stated that
a meteor shower was predicted to take place the following weekend. I have witnessed meteors before and feel quite
certain that what I saw was not a meteor. Furthermore, simular sightings were reported in California several months
prior.
