I know most of you wont believe me but I'll tell you anyway.
I'd just taken my sweetheart home after a lovely pie and pea
supper at the local working men's club.Vera's dad was a
right old duff who turned nasty if Vera wasn't in on time.
Anyway the time was 11:15 and I was walking home alone, it
wasn't too far to my home but it was a good 20 minute walk.
To get to my home though I had to walk through the woods,
this didn't bother me as I had done most of my life,I knew
thoughs wood like the back of my hands,but for some reason
this night I felt a little worried.I started to walk a
little faster then normal and my heart started to gain speed
also.Just as I got to an opening in the woods I heard a
sound that I had never heard before,it was a whoshing sound
as though something was spinning, but I still could'nt see
anything that could explain the sound. Then all of a sudden
the noise stopped and every thing was still, the stillness
began to make me feel uneasy,but before I could do anything
a large flash of light nearly blinded me, I fell back in
panic and regained my eye sight to see a large metallic
triangular shape rising from the ground. I coludn't believe
my eyes, but before I could get a closer look the object
took off verticaly in the blink of an eye, I had never seen
anything move so quickly in my life. I never told anyone
about my sighting as I know people wouldn't believe me. Vera
became my wife and of course I told her, but not for years
after the incident.
Now you can believe if you want,or you think I'am an old
man with a wild emagination, either way I don't mind because
I know what happen that night in 1947.
