Sighting:
I was 6 years old and living on an army base in Germany. I believe it was
near Schwebesch Gemund. I attended a German American elementary school and
was on recess at the time. It may have been hovering above the playground
100 feet 200 feet for a while before the other kids and the teacher began
pointing to it. It was close and it was big. It was also hard for me to
judge distance. It was a silver sphere. I remember waving at it. I did not
draw a connection to ufo phenom until ten or so years ago. This sighting was
in 1953. Not to long after the Arnold business. To this day, I am not sure
what we saw. My recollection is clear however. It was silent, mysterious and
created a lot of excitement. Recess was over and the teacher still looking
up, ushered us back in to the building. When I got to my seat and looked out
the window,
I watched as it drifted off and dissapeared behind trees.

Sighting:
I saw what seemed to be a bright star until it began to zig-zag to the east,
it made a sudden stop and hovered for about 10 minutes then began to zig-zag
in reverse. It then began to move in the same zig-zag motion to the north
east as if it were lost and had to back on track to get on the correct
course. It immediately disappeared and we were unable to see it anymore. A
total of 7 of us experienced this and we were all totally sober. Very, Very
Awesome!!!
