UFO=Sighting: I was driving home in heavy but fast moving
traffic.  I noticed to my left, there was a football-
shaped white light, about the size of the full moon in
diameter (there was no moon on 10/13/98).  It stood
completely still.  I was in the left lane and could not
stop, but I looked over a half dozen times, amazed that
everyone wasn't screeching to a halt.  It appeared to be
several miles away.  The object was then obscured by clouds,
until I was about a half mile further down the road, when I
saw it again, this time from an "end-view" perspective.  It
now appeared as a tall oval, as if I was seeing the "football"
from the end.
