sighting: What I saw that night is something I will never forget no matter how strange it sounds!!!!
I saw a bright, purple, flourescent light streaking across the sky. It was leaving a trail of light behind it,
like a vapor trail. This light trail that it left, could be seen across the sky as far as my eye could see. Whatever
it was stayed at a constant alltitude and a constant speed. This was no meteorite falling towards earth. This light
cruised across the sky over Concord and headed towards Pittsburg and Antioch. The light just kept going and going
as far as I could see it. Even when it was gone, it still left that trail of light.
To this day, I just wish I knew what I know now when I saw this. I didn't stop any cars on the road or anything
like that. I called the Contra Costa Times and they said they hadn't heard anything. My friend saw something on
the news a couple of nights later, and they said it was a meteor shooting through our atmosphere. If that is so,
why wasn't it being pulled towards the ground by gravity? Why wasn't there any reports of a crash site? That report
was B.S. Maybe it was some magnetic jet propulsion craft but I highly doubt it.
