To: artesia@usa.net From: Submitted-Sightings@caverns.com Subject: Submitted UFO Sighting Report X-Mozilla-Status: 0001 Content-Length: 1190 LOCATION : Hythe, near Folkestone, Kent, U.K. DATE-Sighting : Mid Feb.'98 TIME-Sighting : 1.30a.m. This is your Submitted Sighting Report : I am a Canadian tourist visiting U.K. The following sighting was witnessed outisde Flick's nightclub in Hythe on a Sunday morning. I had NOT drunk any alcohol, and there were 4 other witnesses. Looking out to sea (the English Channel) I saw two lights hovering and rotating on their axes, one light being smaller and hovering directly above the other. This was witnessed for about 15 minutes before the small light descended, merged with the larger one, and they both disappeared. One of the witnesses with me was a long-term resident at Hythe, and despite being used to seeing numerous ships, aircraft etc. in the Channel he declared he had never seen anything like this before. The case has been reported to UFOMEK (Ufo Monitors East Kent) who say there have been numerous sightings in this area (at sea and just inland on Channel coast) in recent years, including the famous sighting (by multiple witnesses) of an enormous black triangle above Home Secretary Michael Howard's house (just a few miles from my sighting) in March '97. - Kim.
