It was submitted by () on Thursday, April 30, 1998 at 10:01:53 location: Ponce, Puerto Rico, USA date: 1973 time: 4:00 PM sighting: One partly sunny afternoon in Ponce, Puerto Rico, I observed two white opaque spheres connected by a cylinder resembling this structure ( 0=0 ). The object was traveling from the direction of the Caribbean Sea to the south towards the mountains in the north. It was not hovering but cruising at what appeared to be a reconnaissance speed. I calmly observed this object for more that ten minutes as it moved from south to north and it never occurred to me to alert anyone or snap a picture of it until I saw it disappear above the clouds in the north. This apparatus had to be huge by the way it was moving and I estimate it was traveling at least at an altitude of ten miles above sea level. There were reports of a daylight UFO that very same day in the San Juan area located about 70 miles away. Has anyone sighted a similar object? Perez_R@Juno.com
