1966 - On Montauk Highway on way to town of Montauk Point - Long Island Sound,
New York - Sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. - driving along going East,
only radio station that had reception was local station on a.m. radio.
Announcer said that people were calling in reporting a UFO sighting near or in
Montauk. As we heard this, we saw a UFO just in front of us. As teenagers at
the time (1966) we sped up to follow it, it slowed , so the car and UFO were
together. When asked years later, what happened next, I only remember driving
back (west) on a highway that had lights (montauk hwy. was dark and did not).
I never did get to the town of Montauk.
