Sighting:
I was in the car with my father, on the way home from Blyth 
where we had been fishing for two hours.  We were travelling 
on a main road which wasn't to busy with trafic.  I looked 
out of my car window and noticed a bright circular object in 
the sky.  Knowing what an airplane or any other rational 
object look like in the sky, I decided to look more carefully.  
I turned to my father who was driving the car and asked him 
to take a look, he said,"it's just a jet."  When I looked 
back, the object was still there but to the left of it there 
was in fact the jet that my father had spotted.  Realising 
that my Dad had not looked at the object i was pointing at i 
asked him to look again, but he couldn't because he was 
consentrating on driving the car.  I watched the object which 
was floating high up in the sky.  We then passed a short 
lenghth of trees standing in a row.  When we passed the trees, 
I tried to spot the object again, but it was gone.  In that 
very short space of time where I could not see because of the 
trees, the object had vanished without a trace.  The jet far 
in the distance, leaving a trail of smoke was still there.  I 
thought about the object for a while and although my family 
and friends gave me many excuses, I knew what a reflection of 
the sun looked like or a plane high up in the sky.  I knew 
what I saw was real but I can't explain what it was.
